Sensor: Can I move sensor to another machine?

It is easy to move a sensor to another machine, there are just a couple of steps to consider.

1. The machines in EA have a periodicity setting, so while the machine is not expected to have data captured, the asset should be set so that data collection reporting is accurate. 
2. The machine settings in EA need to be updated to reflect wireless as opposed to online or portable.
3. The association of sensors to machines is directly controlled in PredictivePortal.  As long as it is understood as to which serialized sensor is installed at the asset’s location, once you move the sensor assignment in the portal, the data will flow into EA for that associated machine.  No other configuration changes are necessary.
